To The Herald-Whig:
The Herald-Whig's June 28 editorial regarding the coronavirus, "Yes, you still need to wear a mask," was an attempt to make me feel guilty for not wearing a mask. It said, "Spare us the predictable arguments about liberty and freedom."
Liberty and freedom are irrelevant. I do not wear a mask because I do not have one, and I am not going to buy one.
If the do-gooders, including The Herald-Whig, desire I wear a mask, they can send me a "free" one in the mail. It must be an aesthetic mask being in accordance with accepted notions of good taste and, if possible, smell like fresh-cut flowers.
