To The Herald-Whig:
In the March 17 Republican primary election we have a contested race for Adams County coroner. I don't particularly care for contested primaries, they can cause division and hard feelings within the party; but there is such a difference in the two candidates in this race that I feel I must speak out. I have an obligation to do what is in the best interest of Adams County.
One candidate, Scott Graham, has 30 years of experience in this field. The other candidate has none. Graham is one of the most professional, compassionate and caring individuals that I have ever met; qualities he apparently inherited from his father, Pastor Ron Graham. Scott Graham is serving as Adams County chief deputy coroner and has been instrumental in cleaning up the mess created by the previous coroner. Adams County can't afford another disaster in the coroner's office.
My wife Theresa and I have gotten to know Scott Graham and his wife, Susan, and have so much respect for Scott that Theresa signed on as chairman of Scott's campaign. Please join us in supporting and voting for the only qualified candidate for Adams County coroner, Scott Graham.
