Two Hannibal men arrested on burglary charge in Ralls County

NEW LONDON, Mo. -- Two Hannibal men were arrested Monday after police said they burglarized a New London home.

Ralls County Sheriff's Department deputies were called about 4:30 a.m. to a burglary in progress in the 13200 block of Potter Drive. Deputies said they found an open door and two men inside.

Arrested were Jake Duckworth, 34, and Cody Ridgley, 41. Both were placed on 24-hour holds before being charged with second-degree burglary.

Ridgely's bond was set at $20,000 cash only, and Duckworth is being held on several outstanding warrants with a bond totaling $40,000 cash only.

The Hannibal Police Department assisted in the investigation.
